Resources for Writers
E-Publishing and On-Demand Printing
- e-publishing links from The Buffalo Free Net. Hard Shell Word Factory is an example of e-publishing companies.
- For on-demand printing and publishing, I have used Lightning Source which is a unit run by Ingram. The good thing is that your on-demand print titles are included in Ingram's catalogs. Ingram becomes your distributor, and you get wholesaler compensation from Ingram on the books you market. First step is to become a publisher, by getting an ISBN publisher prefix from the official U.S. ISBN Agency (R.R. Bowker). You will get 10 ISBN numbers to use.
